Overview 

Welcome to The After Dress. Throughout this website, the terms we, us and our refer to The After Dress. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service and our related policies. 

 

Use of our website

You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian. You agree to provide accurate information and not use this website unlawfully. We may request ID verification for rentals.

 

Our products and rental service

We offer designer Clio Peppiatt dresses for rental. We aim to show products as accurately as possible, however appearance may vary slightly. Many garments are delicate, hand-embellished, and may show minor signs of wear. All dresses are professionally cleaned between rentals. 

 

Orders

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We may cancel or refuse orders at our discretion. A £200 pre-authorisation will be taken as a damage deposit and released after safe return of the dress.

 

Rental periods:

·       Four days

·       Eight days

·       Sixteen days

·       Thirty days

Your rental starts on delivery and ends on the final day. Dresses must be returned via tracked post on the final day of your rental.

 

Pricing and payment

Prices are listed in £ (GBP) and include VAT. Payment must be made in full at checkout. We accept all major credit/debit cards via Shopify Payments. Delivery Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for courier delays. Dresses are sent via tracked courier and require signature on delivery. We recommend trying on your dress immediately upon arrival.

 

Returns, cancellations and refunds Cancellations:

·       14+ days before rental: Full refund

·       7-13 days before: 50% refund

·       Less than 7 days: No refund

Returns must be posted on the final day of rental using the prepaid label provided.

 

Damage and responsibility

 

You are responsible for the dress during your rental.

 

No charge for:

·       Minor marks from normal wear

·       Light makeup transfer

·       Loose threads

 

·       Missing 1-2 crystals/beads

 

Charges apply for:

·       Significant stains that won't clean: £50-100

·       Rips, tears, or burns: £50-200

·       Excessive crystal/bead loss: £25-50

·       Lost or stolen dress: £500 flat fee

·       Odours (smoke/perfume) requiring special cleaning: £50

 

We strongly recommend event insurance which typically covers hired items. Please report any loss or theft immediately.

 

Late Returns

Late returns are charged at £25 per day. This is because another customer may be waiting for the dress. If you need to extend your rental, contact us immediately.

 

Care Instructions

·       DO NOT wash, dry clean, or iron

·       DO NOT use stain removers

·       Hang on provided hanger

·       Keep away from rough surfaces

·       Store in garment bag when not wearing

 

Privacy

Your information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.

 

Liability

Our liability is limited to the rental cost paid. We are not responsible for any consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
